Killing My Lobster is a San Francisco-based sketch comedy group and film production company.

Killing My Lobster is a non-profit arts organization (officially called Lobster Theater Project) based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 1997, Killing My Lobster celebrates its 10th anniversary season of programming in 2007. Annually, Killing My Lobster presents original sketch comedy productions, comedic plays, the hi/lo film festival and original films. KML is known primarily for its sketch comedy shows, which always have a thematic through-line. The group will often have more than one show in production, some being experimental, some more traditional.

The group's sketch shows often feature video pieces as well as traditional live sketches. Their first full-length musical "Faces The Music (2007)" was extended for a second run in early 2007. KML Plays

The group produced the world premiere of Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's play "Hunter Gatherers" in the summer of 2006. The show received rave reviews in the SF Chronicle and SF Weekly. Soon after, Nachtrieb was given the American Theatre Critics Association/Steinberg Award at the Humana Festival for the best new play in America outside of New York City.
