Edalakudy

Edalakudy ( _ta. இடலாகுடி) is a well populated Muslim people living place about 3 km from the Nagercoil town in Kanyakumari district. It is located in the Kanyakumari highway (NH 47) and about 17 km from the beach of Kanyakumari, 5 km from Chothavilai Beach and 10 km from Chankuthurai Beach. Edalakudy forms the formal end of the Nagercoil Municipality. Muslims are the majority of this area,It shows the true Culture of the Muslims, where more than 13 mosques and one famous Sathavathani sheikkuthambi pavalar Higher secondary school and Abdul Khader Hospital and BACHPAN a play school (chain of schools all over India )is in this area.Economy is developing here very fastly due to the hardwork and also by the growth of education here.
