Hiba-Dogo-Taishaku Quasi-National Park

is one of the Quasi-National Parks in Japan.

Overview

Hiba-Dogo-Taishaku Quasi-National Park is located in parts of Hiroshima Prefecture, Shimane Prefecture and Tottori Prefecture.

The park has the area of 78 km² and it was designated as the Quasi-National Park in 1963.

There are a lot of beautiful mountain and ravines include nihongo|Mount Hiba|比婆山|Hiba-yama, nihongo|Mount Azuma|吾妻山|Azuma-yama, nihongo|Mount Santsū|船通山|Sentsū-zan, nihongo|Mount Dōgo|道後山|Dōgo-yama and nihongo|Taishaku ravine|帝釈峡|Taishaku-kyō.

There are virgin forests of Japanese beeches, Japanese oaks, Japanese horse chestnuts and interesting ferns.

There are asiatic black bears, Japanese macaques, mountain hawk eagle and Japanese giant salamanders.
