List of administrative divisions of Hebei

The administrative divisions of Hebei, a province of the People's Republic of China, consists of prefecture-level divisions subdivided into county-level divisions then subdivided into township-level divisions. These are:

* 11 prefecture-level divisions
** all of which are prefecture-level cities
* 172 county-level divisions
** 22 county-level cities
** 108 counties
** 6 autonomous counties
** 36 districts
* 2207 township-level divisions
** 1 district public office
** 937 towns
** 979 townships
** 55 ethnic townships
** 235 subdistricts

All of these administrative divisions are explained in greater detail at Political divisions of China. This chart lists only prefecture-level and county-level divisions of Hebei.

Recent changes:
* 1995: Dongkuang District (东矿区) of Tangshan Prefecture-level City is renamed Guye District.
* 1996: Hengshui Prefecture (衡水地区) becomes Hengshui Prefecture-level City; Hengshui County-level City becomes Taocheng County.
* 1996: Qiu County (丘县) is renamed Qiu County (邱县).
* 1996: Qian'an County becomes Qian'an County-level City.
* 1997: Suburban District (郊区) of Cangzhou Prefecture-level City is disbanded.
* 2000: Anci District is created in Langfang Prefecture-level City.
* 2001: Suburban District (郊区) of Shijiazhuang Prefecture-level City is disbanded; Yuhua District is created within Shijiazhuang Prefecture-level City.
* 2002: Fengnan County-level City of Tangshan Prefecture-level City becomes Fengnan District; Fengrun County and New District (新区) of Tangshan Prefecture-level City are merged to become Fengrun District.
