- Brian Williamson
Brian Williamson (September 4 1945 -
June 9 2004 ) was aJamaica nGay rights activist and co-founder of the Jamaican forum forlesbian s andgay s,J-Flag . He was known for personally housing and looking after gay people in Jamaica.He was murdered with a machete, suffering several stab wounds to neck and face. As usual in cases of violence committed against gay men, Jamaican police claimed that the killing was done by a "jealous male lover" of Williamson.
