Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital (CDUH), known as Cebu Doctors' Hospital until 2006, is a major tertiary private hospital in Cebu City, the Philippines. It is a private stock corporation established for the purpose of creating that medium where physicians and other related health and medical science practitioners can channel their competent skills and learning for the care of the sick, in particular, and for the preservation and improvement of health, in general. CDUH was inaugurated on August 20, 1972.
Following the foregoing purpose enunciated by the founders of CDH, it has forged an alliance with the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres in observance of the dictum that total health care require both temporal and spiritual attention in all preventive, curative, restorative and rehabilitative processes.
Cebu Doctors' Hospital is also the nucleus of a comprehensive medical education complex that serves as one of the medico-educational research centers of the country.
Behind Cebu Doctors' Hospital is the professional leadership of Dr. Potenciano V. Larrazabal, Jr., President & Chairman of the Board. Dr. Larrazabal's successful leadership has been evident ever since he assumed the position as the hospital's Medical Director. He spent most of his time to the enchancement of a better medical service and expects the staff to render competent, ethical and humane service to all who needs it.
