Ghaziudin Khan Bahadur was the wazir of the
Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan III. His official name is "Wazir ul-Mamalik-i-Hindustan, Asaf Jah, Amir ul-Umara, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nawab Mir Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur, Firuz Jang".Biography
He was the grandson of
Asaf Jah I to Mir Muhammad Panah (official name:"Amir ul-Umara, Nizam ul-Mulk, Asaf ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur, Firuz Jang") and Sultan Begum on1 February 1736 atNawar , as Mir Shihab-ud-din. His great grandfather was Nawab Ghazi ud-din Nawab Khan Bahadur (official name:"Farzand-i-Arjumand, Nawab Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur, Firuz Jang, Sipah Salar").Bahadur became
Paymaster-General (Mir Bakshi) on12 December 1752 and held the position until 1754, Wazir ul-Mamalik on2 June 1754 and Naib Wazir from 1757 to 1759. He was granted the titles of "Amir ul-Umara", "Imad ul-Mulk", "Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur", and "Firuz Jang" on12 December 1752 . He was promoted to "Nizam ul-Mulk" and "Asaf Jah" on13 May 1753 , and was granted with the title of "Farzari Khan" byAhmad Shah Abdali on21 February 1757 .He blinded and imprisoned Emperor
Ahmad Shah Bahadur in 1754 and assassinated EmperorAlamgir II in 1759. He escaped punishment by going on pilgrimage toMecca .Bahadur died at
Kalpi ,31 August 1800 and was buried in the Shrine of Farid Shakkarganj, Pakpatan.ee also
