Times Media, Inc.

Times Media, Inc. produces eight community newspapers in San Jose, California. The chain's first newspaper, "Evergreen Times", was founded in 1982. In addition to print form, the newspapers can be downloaded in PDF format. Circulation exceeds 135,000.

The newspapers are independently owned and operated community newspapers in the Bay Area. The principal distribution areas encompass the cities of San Jose and Campbell, CA. Newspaper banners include: "Almaden Times Weekly", "Evergreen Times", "Blossom Valley Times", "Cambrian Times", "Campbell Times", "Coyote Valley Times", "Willow Glen Times", and "Santa Teresa Times".

The Almaden Times Weekly scooped the daily press on a number of major stories, including the story about an 11-year-old girl who was the first victim of an outbreak of mycobacterial furunculosis. The infection was caused from an allegedly improperly disinfected whirlpool Pedi spa. Two weeks later, the newspaper uncovered an outbreak among 11 women who received pedicures at three south bay nail salons. Within a few weeks, the number of cases rose to nearly 60, with 13 salons implicated locally. The outbreak eventually becomes a national health story.
