Nathan Jones (born Rhondda, Wales, May 28 1973 [http://www.football.co.uk/yeovil/players/nathan_jones_17147.shtml Birthdate and statistics] : "Football.co.uk" website. Retrieved on January 21 2008.] ) is a Welsh professional football (soccer) left sided defender, currently playing for Yeovil Town.

His first professional club was Spanish club Numancia, where he stayed for a year before returning to the United Kingdom to play for Southend United in 1997. He spent three seasons at Southend, including a season long loan at Scarborough, and left for Brighton & Hove Albion. He made over 100 appearances in the five seasons he spent there before moving to Yeovil in 2005.
