Stevan Petrović Knićanin (Serbian Cyrillic: Стеван Петровић Книћанин, born in 1807 in Knić, Serbia died in 1855 in Belgrade, Serbia) was a Serbian voivod and commander of the Serbian volunteer squads in the Serbian Vojvodina during the 1848/1849 revolution.

He was born in Knić near Kragujevac (hence his nickname). During the rule of Miloš Obrenović, Knićanin was a commissioner of the Jasenica municipality, and in 1839 a commissioner of the Smederevo district. Since he supported "ustavobranitelji" (the defenders of the constitution), he was expelled from Serbia in 1840-1841. From August 1848, Knićanin was a commander of the Serbian volunteer squads in the Serbian Vojvodina. His military knowledge was expressed in more occasions, especially in the battles near Pančevo and Vršac. After his return to Serbia in May 1849, Knićanin was awarded with the title of voivod. The village of Knićanin in the Serbian province of Vojvodina was named after him.
