Jalaluddin Mirza was a
prince of the MughalRoyal Family ,Gurkhan -e-Mirza .Most of his life was spent hiding from the British. He took refuge under the
Zamindari Dighapatia family inNatore ,Rajshahi . He had four sons and two daughters. His sonMirza Zafar eventually came to be an official in the families' court. He marriedHumaira Sultan Begum , grand daughter ofBahadur Shah Zafar II and had the heir apparentMirza Zafar andMirza Mohinuddin Alam Beg .His
line of descent was the surviving branch of the house ofTimur , besides the Delhi line of the MughalImperial family .
