Henry George Orlando Bridgeman DSO, MC, DL, JP, (15 August 1882 – 19 May 1972) was a British soldier.
The third son of the 4th Earl of Bradford and Lady Ida Frances Annabella Lumley, and younger brother of the 5th Earl of Bradford, was educated at Harrow School, London.
Bridgeman fought in the First World War, reaching the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. He served in the Royal Field Artillery and was Aide-de-Camp to the General Officer Commanding, Ireland. He received the Military Cross in 1916, the Distinguished Service Order (DSO) in 1918, and was decorated with the Order of Danilo of Montenegro.
In 1945, he became Justice of Peace for Northumberland and one year later Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland.
Family
Bridgeman married Joan Constable-Maxwell on 30 December 1930. They had four children:
