Stephen Horne

Stephen Horne (Born, Nairobi, 1948) is an artist and writer.

Horne's writing has been published in catalogues and in periodicals such as Third Text, Parachute, Art Press, Flash Art, Canadian Art, C Magazine and Fuse, as well as in anthologies in English, French and German. He edited Fiction, or other accounts of Photography, an anthology published by Dazibao in Montreal. Abandon Building: Selected Writings on Art was published in 2007 by Press Eleven. Horne was Associate Professor in the, Media Arts Division and Graduate Program at NSCAD University from 1980 – 2006, and taught a Seminar on art criticism in the Graduate Programme at Concordia University, Montreal during the nineties. He currently lives in France and Montreal.
