"CytoJournal" [http://www.cytojournal.com] is a peer reviewed, PubMed indexed, open access scientific cytology journal. The founding editor is Vinod B. Shidham, MD,FRCPath,FIAC, who is also executive editor and coeditor-in-chief with Barbara F. Atkinson, MD as other coeditor-in-chief. It is the first open access journal of its kind in cytopathology. It is owned and supported by non-profit organization "Cytopathology Foundation Inc" [http://www.cytopathology-foundation.org] . The authors, publishing in this 'open access' cytopathology journal, do not lose their copy right but agree to open access charter.
