Yeerongpilly is a suburb of in Brisbane, Australia. It is 8km south of the Brisbane central business district.

Yeerongpilly is an aboriginal word, roughly translated to "place of grub" [reference needed] in reference to the scarcity of witchety grubs in the area (same goes for Indooroopilly - meaning place of plentiful grub - it is located directly across the Brisbane River).

Yeerongpilly grew from an area named Boggo, which was logged for timber for Brisbane.

Transport

Yeerongpilly railway station provides access to regular Citytrain services to Brisbane, Beenleigh and Ferny Grove.
