Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio). In 1931, he was awarded a master of arts degree byHarvard University (Cambridge, Mass.).In 1960, when Democratic U.S. Rep.
James G. Polk died in office, Miller was chosen in a special elelection to complete Polk's term. He did not stand for re-election in 1960.Miller served as a U.S. representative from
