Breck Alan

Breck Alan is a New York based musician, singer, songwriter, and teacher. He primarily plays guitar. He is said to have one theme that exists throughout all of his music and that is the "individual pursuit in all of us." Through his books, Breck pioneered the art of Body-Singing.

Career

Alan's interest in music grew at a young age. He attended the New England Conservatory, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and privately with Peter Elvins.

Breck has played on many occasions and many venues, such as the Irving Plaza in New York City, and The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Breck has written music for HBO ("Best of Real Sex"), sung for Nickelodeon, composed entire scores for Children's Plays, Independent Films, and also comes out with his own original C.D.'s.

As for teaching, Breck has been the teacher for several colleges, and occasionally visits high-school programs to teach them the art of body singing.
