Part of theMirab Welega Zone , Begi is bordered on the south byJimma Gidami , on the west and north by theBenishangul-Gumuz Region , on the northeast byMana Sibu , on the east by Jarso, and on the southeast byGawo Dale . Towns in Begi include Begi,Kober andSegno Gebeya .Coffee is an important cash crop of this woreda. Over 50 km² is planted with this crop.
