Jubelhornet

Jubelhornet is a folk music group from Fjaler, which specialises in putting poetry by Jakob Sande, also from Fjaler, to melodies by local musicians.

Jubelhornet have made a significant contribution to popularising the work of Jakob Sande. Almost every Norwegian can sing along to "Morgon på Kobbeskjeret", with its catchy tune by Jan Haugen. Their music is frequently played on Norwegian Radio NRK. December 1, 2006 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jakob Sande.
