Areas of operation
Fleet
From the 1930s to the 1990s, the majority of vehicles in the Delaine fleet were of Bedford or Leyland manufacture. A full historical fleet list can be found on the company's website.
Volvos have been the majority type since the early 2000s and the current fleet consists mainly of East Lancs bodied Volvo double-deckers. As at October 2011 the fleet comprises:
Double-deck:
- 4 Volvo Olympian / East Lancs E Type
- 5 Volvo B7TL / East Lancs Vyking
- 6 Volvo B9TL / East Lancs Olympus
Single-deck:
- 5 Volvo B7RLE / Wrightbus Eclipse Urban
A heritage fleet is also maintained for use on special duties only. All remain licensed as PCVs.
