Carol Shaw (politician)

Carol Shaw (politician)

Councillor Carol Shaw is a London Liberal Democrat Politician. She represents Brondesbury Park Ward on Brent Council.

She was elected in 1990, as a Conservative. However, in 2003, just three weeks before the Brent East by-election, Shaw defected to the Liberal Democrats, expressing frustration with the 'weak' leadership of Iain Duncan Smith and commending the 'commitment and energy shown by Sarah Teather'. Shaw supported Chris Huhne in the 2006 Liberal Democrat leadership election. [http://www.chris2win.org/pages/fullsupporterlist.html]
