woreda s in theOromia Region ofEthiopia . Part of theMirab Shewa Zone , Amaya is bordered on the south by theSouthern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region , on the west by Nono, on the northwest byTikur , on the northeast byWonchi , and on the east byWalisona Goro . The major town in Amaya isGindo .Although
coffee is an important cash crop of this woreda, less than 20 km² is planted with this crop.
