1970–1971 United States network television schedule

This was the television schedule on all three United States commercial television networks for the fall season beginning in September 1970. All times are Eastern and Pacific, with a few exceptions, such as "Monday Night Football".

New fall series are highlighted in bold.

The highest rated program of the season is highlighted in lime green. The top 10 most-watched shows are highlighted in yellow. The top 20 most-watched programs are colored in cyan.

"PBS, the Public Broadcasting Service, was in operation by October 1970; however, schedules were set by each affiliated station."

In April 1970, Congress passed a law banning the advertising of tobacco products on television and radio starting on January 2, 1971.

This season would the last one for the traditional 3 and a 1/2 hour prime time schedule.
