Sebastião Marcos Barbosa de Oliveira, commonly known as "Marcos" (born June 21 1976 in Paraná, Brazil) is a Brazilian football (soccer) goalkeeper, who currently plays for CS Marítimo in Superliga.
He made his debut against Vitória Setúbal, after joining from Brazilian top division side Paraná Clube in January 2003, and although the verde-rubros lost 1-0, Marcos quickly demonstrated why he was ranked as one of the top goalkeepers in the Brazilian League.
His agility, reflexes and quick reactions have resulted in some spectacular, memorable saves, and many fans have likened him to former Marítimo stopper Ewerton. Marcos has often been linked with moves to bigger european clubs but has so far stayed loyal to the Superliga outfit, and is consistently ranked as one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
