Wênio

Wênio Moraes Pio commonly known as "Wênio" born on 9th September,1979 in Mineiros,Brazil is a Brazilian football (soccer) midfielder, who currently plays for Vitória de Guimarães in Superliga.

The Brazilian was an unknown quantity when he signed for CS Maritimo from Corinthians Alagoano in 2002. However the hardworking midfielder has become a crucial figure in the Marítimo first team, holding the midfield. His bravery and determination have often been put to the test many times, but Wênio has established himself as an influential character in the starting line-up. His grit and determination has made him a favourite with the Maritimo fans, as has his peroxide blonde hair.In June 2008 he signed for Vitória de Guimarães after 6 years with CS Maritimo.
