Chris Stafford (born Christopher Stafford on July 18, 1977, in Collinsville, Illinois) is an American actor. He has acted in film and television including Law & Order and the coming-out movie Edge of Seventeen, for which he received the Best Actor award at Outfest, and an Independent Spirit Award nomination.[1]
Biography
He graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 1999, and earned an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University in 2002. Stafford was a superior student at the University of Miami Law School, being the writing and research editor of the Law Review and the recipient of several awards. Stafford was voted by a group of students, faculty, and administrators to deliver an address at the commencement ceremony in 2005. He has also worked for the American Civil Liberties Union, primarily on cases for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
