"Edge of Seventeen" is a 1998 coming of age film directed by David Moreton, starring Chris Stafford and co-starring Tina Holmes.

Plot

In "Edge of Seventeen," a gay teenager finds out who he is and what he wants, who his friends are, and who loves him. This autobiographical tale is set in Ohio in the 1980s. Growing up, learning about life, love, sex, friends, and lovers are its main themes. The film takes its title from the Stevie Nicks song "Edge of Seventeen".

Much of the filming took place in Sandusky, Ohio and the amusement park scenes were filmed at Cedar Point, the amusement park that the writer actually worked at when he was in high school.
