Sheikh Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi

Sheikh Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi (January 1, 1920-June 20, 1969) was an Egyptian reciter.

Son of the great Sheikh Siddiq El-Minshawi, his brother Sheikh Mahmoud El-Minshawiis also a famous reciter.

Having been influenced greatly by his father, Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq El-Minshawi was also a protégé of the greatly loved Sheikh Mohamed Salamah, a great reciter of the 20th century. He studied the rules of recitation under the Respected Sheikh IBrahim As-Su'oodi at a young age.

He is especially admired for the immense spirituality of his recitation. He had a smooth style which could move the listener to tears.

Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq El-Minshawi has become a househould name across the Muslim world, and he travelled to many countries outside of his homeland. These to name but a few include, Algeria, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Palestine (Al-Aqsa Mosque), Saudi Arabia and Syria.
