Walter Rangeley

Walter Rangeley (December 14, 1903March 16, 1982) was a British athlete who competed mainly in the sprints

He competed for Great Britain in the 1924 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France in the 4 x 100 metre relay where he won the silver medal with his team mates Harold Abrahams, William Nichol and Lancelot Royle.

At the following games in 1928 held in Amsterdam Walter won a silver medal in the 200 metres. He also joined with a new relay team consisting of team mates Cyril Gill, Teddy Smouha and Jack London but they could not match the achievements of the previous games and finished third.
