Casner Motor Racing Division – also known as America Camoradi (casner motor racing division), Camoradi USA or Camoradi International – was a racing team of the 1960s known for racing
Maserati Birdcage sports cars, and a Porsche and Cooper inFormula One . It was founded by Lloyd "Lucky" Casner in 1960, after he gained interest in theMaserati Tipo 61 in August 1959, and was created to race in the24 Hours of Le Mans .web cite|url=http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/magazine/3200.asp?id=11902|title=Maserati Tipo 61: The Streamliner|publisher=Classic Driver|accessdate=2006-11-05] The Camoradi team won the1000km Nürburgring in 1960 despite a brokenfuel line half way through the race. The team achieved victory again in 1961, however, due to the unreliability of their cars they never won Le Mans. Jean Behra 'sBehra-Porsche RSK, following its creator's death in the machine at the1959 German Grand Prix meeting. The car was initially entered forMasten Gregory , but its regular driver for the F1|1960 season wasFred Gamble . For F1|1961 Camoradi moved up to aCooper T53 car, again with Gregory as driver, but results did not come and the team withdrew from Grand Prix racing mid-way through the year.Racers
