- Macha crater
Macha is a
meteorite crater in theFar Eastern Federal District ofRussia . The crater, measuring 300 meters indiameter , is the largest of a field of 5 craters with diameters ranging from 60 to 300 m. They may have been the result of iron meteorites, with an estimated age of impact less than 8000year s ago (Holocene ).References
