"Una película de huevos" (Spanish for "A movie about eggs" but alluding to the slang "de huevos" meaning "it is awesome") is a 2006 animated full feature Mexican film produced by Huevocartoon Producciones (Eggcartoon Productions). The film featured voices by Bruno Bichir, Angélica Vale and Carlos Espejel.

Plot

Film Summary

The movie starts off with the egg Toto who wants to become a rooster but he was taken away from his mother before he could hatch. Then he was put for sale in a supermarket where Toto was bought. Toto meets Willy and a bunch of other eggs who wanted to escape. After Willy and general Yolk devised a plan to escape, they chose Toto to distract the cat while they escaped. Willy would serve as his aid when Toto escaped the cat, but sadly they get left behind by the others and were left trapped in the house, forced to look for a way to get to a farm so Toto can hatch.

Characters

Toto: Toto is a three day old chicken egg who was hoping to hatch into a rooster, but he was taken away from his mother before that could happen. Along with some other eggs, he was sent to a supermarket; it was revealed that humans are unable to hear or see the eggs in their true form. Once Toto was bought he was placed in a chicken shaped metal egg container. There he met Willy, another egg, who served as the lookout who made sure the humans or their cat weren't near by. In the end Toto is finally found his mother and a week later he hatched in to an adorable little rooster.

Willy: Willy is a four day old chicken egg who served as the look out who made sure the humans or their cat weren't near by, he was also taken away from his farm. He always wears a military helmet and he also has a pretty big ego.

Bibi: She is an egg that works at a carnival. She falls in love with Willy.

Tocino: It is a confused but servicial bacon that does not speak; he communicates with gestures. He is very sensible and friendly but he has a very low intelligence. According to Bibi, he wants to accompany other eggs to become a great pig.

Tlacua and Cuache: Two sewer rats that find Toto and Willy on the sewer and try to eat them.

Coco: A crocodile egg, and official leader of a band of reptile eggs sent to smash the group of chicken eggs, he is actually more interested on being an actor.

Serp: A rattlesnake egg, he constantly is scolding Coco to concentrate on the mission.
