conferenceurl = ] situated on the border between the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero, 800 kilometres northwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The largest and best known crater, located near the village of "Chorotis", is 50 meters in diameter. The age is estimated to be less than 4,000 years (Holocene).It was discovered in 1572. The meteorite is mainly composed of iron, with 6.68 percent nickel, and small percentages of cobalt, phosphorus and other elements.
