"New South Carolina Ballpark" is a stadium in Columbia, South Carolina on the banks of the Congaree River. It is currently in the construction phase, and when completed, it will be one of the best college venues in the nation.
It will be primarily used for baseball and will be the home of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team. It will replace the current Sarge Frye Field. The ballpark will have 5,400 chairback seats and a total capacity of 8,000. It will open for the 2009 baseball season.
