Elena Roger

Elena Roger (born Elena Silvia Roger on October 27, 1974 in Argentina) is an Argentine actress who recently appeared in the West End comedy play Boeing Boeing as the Alitalia air stewardess character, Gabriella, at The Comedy Theatre in Panton Street.Citation | url=http://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=19248 | title=Rhea Perlman and Elena Roger in Boeing-Boeing | publisher=Broadwayworld.com | date=2007-06-14 | accessdate=2007-06-14] She recently starred as Eva Perón in the West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Evita" at the Adelphi theatre.

Among her theatre credits in her native Buenos Aires, the original productions of "Nine" directed by David Leveaux, "Beauty and the Beast" directed by Keith Batten, as Fantine in "Les Misérables" directed by Ken Caswell, and Annette in "Saturday Night Fever" directed by Tony Edge.

Other productions include Tango por Dos (in London), the musicals Fiddler on the Roof, Houdini and La Fiaca. In 2003 Elena and director Valeria Ambrosio devised Mina, che cosa sei in which Elena starred. The musical, based on the famous Italian actress, won five awards including the ACE (Critics’ Award) for Best Actress. Elena is currently appearing the 'Piaf' at the Donmar Warehouse until September 20 2008. She has also released a CD 'Vientos Del Sur' (Winds from the South) which is a Tango inspired collection of pop songs and is available from amazon.co.uk and dresscircle.co.uk.

Among her television credits include Argentinian television dramas "Hombres de Honor" and "Pensionados" and the comedy programme "El Sodero de mi Vida".
