The group had features similar to the psittacosaurs and leptoceratopsians. They had small frills and barely any horns, only on the sides, and a bump on their snouts. This family includes the genera "Archaeoceratops" and "Liaoceratops". They could have walked on two or four legs and had sharp beaks.
