"Your Love" is a song from The Outfield's debut album, "Play Deep". It was written by John Frederick Spinks. The song reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1986.
"Your Love" was featured on the soundtrack for "", a popular video game, playing on Pop station Flash FM.
Covers
The song has also been covered by ska/punk band Less than Jake on the "Goodbye Blue and White" album, and by the pop/punk band Midtown. It has also been covered by Wyclef Jean featuring Eve as a reggae mix on the soundtrack to Adam Sandler's "50 First Dates". Another cover of this song exists by German euro-trance group Topmodelz, released in 2007. Another cover has been done by Burn Your Wishes featuring current guitarist for Killswitch Engage, Adam Dutkiewicz, and current guitarist for Unearth, Ken Susi. This version can be heard [http://www.myspace.com/burnyourwishesrock here] . It has also been covered by Coheed & Cambria front-man Claudio Sanchez on his side-project The Prize Fighter Inferno. A brief sample of the chorus was used in a minor dance hit in the early 2000's.
