Mercer County, West Virginia . Background
Pikeview High School was established in 1994 after the consolidation of Lashmeet/Matoaka, Oakvale, Spanishburg and Athens High Schools. It is located near Princeton, WV, on Eads Mill Road.
Academics
PikeView High School is noted for its academic achievement. Test Scores are among the highest in the state of West Virginia. PikeView High School is a West Virginia School of Excellence.
Mascot and Colors
PikeView's colors are red, black, and white. The mascot is the panther.PikeView's mascot's name is Amos, an acronym composed of the first letter of the four schools which feed into PikeView: Athens, Matoaka, Oakvale, and Spanishburg.
