Mary Rohde Scudday, is a playwright from San Antonio, Texas. She received her M.F.A. from Trinity University in 1977. She began her career with the Dallas Theater Center, where she also taught at Trinity's graduate school of drama, before teaching theatre at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She currently teaches theatre and chairs the Fine Arts Department at T.M.I.—The Episcopal School of Texas. Her current play, hard 2 spel dad, written with fellow playwright, Linda Daugherty, will have its premiere at the Dallas Children's Theater.
