Skultuna mässingsbruk

Skultuna mässingsbruk, also known as, Skultuna Messingsbruk was founded in 1607 at the bequest of King Karl IX to begin a brassworks within Sweden. Located in Skultuna on the outskirts of Västerås, the site was chosen due to water power of the Svartån brook, availability of transportation, and proximity to Falun copper mines.
