XXVIIIth International Congress of Genealogical and Heraldic Sciences

The XXVIIIth International Congress of Genealogical and Heraldic Sciences (French "XXVIII Congrès International des Sciences Généalogique et Héraldique") was held in Quebec City from 23 June to 28 June 2008. This was the twenty eighth Congress to be held since 1929. The congress was organized by the Société de généalogie de Québec under the patronage of the Canadian Heraldic Authority and Michaëlle Jean, the Governor General of Canada. The theme of the congress was "The Meeting of Two Worlds: Quest or Conquest"
