- Frigg UK System
The Frigg UK System is a natural gas transportation system from the
Alwyn North Field in theNorth Sea toSt. Fergus nearPeterhead inScotland . The system comprises the Frigg UK Pipeline and processing facilities at the St Fergus Gas Terminal. The convert|110|km|mi|0 long Alwyn pipeline with diameter of convert|24|in|mm|0 connects Alwyn North Field with theFrigg Field 's TP1 bypass spool. From the TP1 the convert|362|km|mi|0 long original Frigg UK Pipeline with diameter of convert|32|in|mm|0 runs to the St Fergus Gas Terminal, alongside of theVesterled pipeline (former Frigg Norwegian Pipeline). This section was opened in1977 . convert|18|in|mm|0 pipeline connects Tartan and Piper fields with the Frigg UK Pipeline at the MCP-01 platform, convert|173|km|mi|0 northeast ofAberdeen . Also Bruce, Ross, Captain and Buzzard fields are connected to the system. The Frigg UK System is operated by Total E&P UK Plc.External links
