Robert Woodman

Robert Woodman (born October 12 1986, Taunton, Somerset) is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler. Robert attended The Castle School Taunton and Richard Huish College, also in Taunton.

He played his 3 first-class matches in 2005 and scored 46* on his debut against Worcestershire. He played for England in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. He didn't play first team cricket for Somerset in 2006 but played regularly for the 2nd XI and also for Devon.

More recently he has been a leading player for the MCC Young Cricketers XI and was 12th man for the England national side in the 1st test against South Africa at Lords on 14th July 2008.
