Aarohi

Aarohi is the annual youth festival (Culfest) of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India.It is organised every year during winter in December-January. Students from undergraduate institutes in the city take part in many of the events organised.

Aarohi attracts more than 1500 participants in elimination rounds of various contests. The festival is sponsored by many big firms and businessmen in the city which are the main source of funds for the event. The event runs for 3 days, while the elimination rounds for various contests begin 10-15 days in advance. Events include a Personality Contest, Singing, Quiz, Debate, Band Contest etc. This festival has more than 5000 viewers every yearFact|date=February 2007. Out of the above, the Band Contest is the flagship event of Aarohi attracting highest number of viewers and participants from all over the city.

Aarohi is also the name of an Indian-Paki band. Known to be the largest in the southwest.
