Through The Years is song performed by the British Rock and Pop singer Gary Glitter, which he composed with Mark Pearson. It was released as a single in 1992.
The song looks back at Glitter's long career in the music business and mentions his downfalls as well as his triumphs. Though the song failed to break the top ten on the pop charts, it became a fan favorite and has been included on several Gary Glitter "greatest hits" and "best of" albums since. These include 1992's "Many Happy Returns" and 1995's "20 Greatest Hits".
