Terminal PUTRA LRT station

Terminal Putra (also known as the Gombak LRT station) is an LRT station in Kuala Lumpur that is served by rapidKL's Kelana Jaya Line. It is also the northern terminus for the Kelana Jaya Line. This terminal is located near the highway that leads to Gombak.

There is a ticket counter for buses to Genting Highlands, with buses departing to the Genting Skyway Station every half and hour. These buses belong to and are operated by Resorts World Berhad and therefore bear their logo on it. This station is normally utilised by residents of Kuala Lumpur, especially those living around Setapak area when they are going to Genting.

Terminal Putra LRT station is also a rapidKL bus hub for local shuttle (TEMPATAN) bus routes.

Future Plans

Under the Ninth Malaysia Plan, the LRT station will be transformed into a transportation hub to cater for express buses coming in from the east coast of Malaysia. This in effect will replace the congested Putra Bus Terminal. However, as of 2008, no design plans was release nor construction has been started on the station.
