Daniel Trejo

Daniel Trejo Medina (born in 1970 Mexico City) has been involved in developing localization and popularizing a number of Internet technologies in Mexico as part of the UNAM DGSCA team in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Daniel received a BA in Computing Engineering at the Facultad de Ingenieria UNAM and joined the DGSCA for Internet services, in early 1990s collaborates with localization for Internet Gopher development team (originally led by Mark P. McCahill Farhad Anklesaria, Paul Lindner, Dan Torrey, Bob Alberti) at the University of Minnesota.Also works with similar technologies like WAIS, Veronica, Jughead(Jonzy's Universal Gopher Hierarchy Excavation And Display).

The DGSCA team, including the master Francisco Becerrill C. help to deploy the first public e-mail system for the UNAM servidor, led by Enrique Daltabuit, PhD. one of the leading and visionary internet people in Mexico together with Victor Guerra, PhD another basement in the Internet in Mexico and Antonio Gonzalez.

Daniel was a diver for 10mts. part of the national team in the 1980s for Centroamerican Games, almost at the same time that Fernando Platas was the World Champion, Juan Colin, Jesús Mena, Sergio and Jose Luis Rocha and Iván Álvarez.

He is certified scuba diver and cave diver.
