Cho-airong ( _th. เจาะไอร้อง) is a district ("Amphoe") of Narathiwat Province, southern Thailand.

History

Cho-aiong was made a minor district ("King Amphoe") on May 31 1993, by separating three "tambon" from Ra-ngae district. Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Mueang Narathiwat, Tak Bai, Su-ngai Padi and Ra-ngae.

Administration

The district is subdivided into 3 subdistricts ("tambon"), which are further subdivided into 33 villages ("muban"). There are no municipal ("thesaban") areas, and 3 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
