Fire stations

Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service operates 14 fire stations, of which five are crewed day and night (whole time), two are day-crewed (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) and the remainder are crewed by retained firefighters who live near to their fire station and can arrive there within five minutes of a call-out. Some of the whole time and day-crewed fire stations are also crewed by retained firefighters.

Shown below is a map of all 14 fire stations. Those marked in red are whole time, green represents stations crewed by both whole time and retained firefighters, orange denotes day-crewed stations and blue indicates retained stations.
