Byron Dragway

Byron Dragway

Byron Dragway is a 1/4 mile dragstrip located in Byron, Illinois, about 1.5 hours from Chicago. It was originally opened in the 1960s. It was most known for running cars 4 at a time in the past, but this practice has been discontinued. For that reason, Byron is a comparatively wide track. It is currently best know for the World Power Wheel Standing Championships.
